About

Gary

My name is Gary Cooper.  I joined Horizons Consulting, Inc. in 1995 as a Consulting Systems Engineer focusing on Microsoft Mail and Exchange Server 4.0 designs. Throughout the last 19 years, I have worked with medium and large customer organizations to design, deploy, and migrate all versions of Exchange from Exchange 4.0 to Exchange 2013.  I have also worked with many large customer organizations to pilot and migrate to Office 365.   My experience also includes Active Directory integration, migrations, Security design, and Health checks.

I have been fully involved in the early feedback and build deployment with the Microsoft Product group for Exchange 4.0 Server through Exchange Server 2013 and I continue to be a member of the Exchange TAP program today.

I am a Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) and a Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA) in Exchange 2003, 2007, and 2010, and I have been actively involved in the “Exchange Ranger” community since November 2005.  I have also served on the Board Review panel for the Microsoft Certified Architect for Exchange program.

I have 19 years of experience in helping customers to design and integrate Microsoft Exchange Server and Active Directory.  Additionally, I am skilled at migrating from earlier versions of Exchange to the latest versions and to Office 365 as well as from other email server products. I specialize in Exchange Server and Active Directory organization design, architecture, problem remediation and ensuring the customer’s IT department is fully able to support the chosen email server solution.
